    Spice for GitHub makes canonical Spice declarations feel native in GitHub’s Go code view—without changing a single source byte.

    What changed

    • Native GitHub is now the default palette, matching GitHub’s own Go syntax density in light and dark themes.
    • Spice Vivid remains available as the expressive GoLand-inspired preset, alongside fully custom semantic colors.
    • Spice branding is now an icon-only control beside GitHub’s right-side file actions, with accessible hover text and a user-activated link to the framework.
    • GitHub file views, pull-request diffs, and client-side navigation remain supported.

    Source integrity and privacy

    The extension changes presentation only. The original // prefix stays in the DOM, copying returns the exact valid Go source, and raw views remain untouched. Processing is local to the browser; there is no telemetry, remote code, or hidden network request. The only permission is storage, used for display settings.
